Notice Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Friday, April 10, 2020
The increasing risk and exposure of the coronavirus (COVID-19) are of great concern to us and is prompting several changes to the way we live and work. Our efforts are focused on meeting your needs while keeping our employees, customers, and families safe.
We want to assure you our sales, customer service, and operations teams are taking precautionary measures to help slow the spread of coronavirus.
We currently don’t anticipate any changes in our supply and have adequate inventory of most products our customers need. Currently, we expect to be able to meet all our customers’ known spring needs, unless there’s a supply or manufacturing disruption. However, the situation can and is changing rapidly, and we have no way of knowing if this will continue. We will certainly keep you posted if the situation changes.
Our sales and customer services teams are fully trained to continue to effectively serve your needs. Your business is very important to us, and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility during this situation and working with us through these uncertain times.
COVID-19 Safety Measures
Restricting face-to-face meetings. Ours is a relationship business, and we take great pride in the relationships we have with our customers. However, there is now a risk with face-to-face interactions, and as a result, our sales force will cease in person calls and instead will use electronic communication methods, or phone calls to contact you. If you have a preferred electronic/digital communication method, please contact your sales rep.
Restricting visitors to our facilities. In order to limit our team’s exposure, we are halting all non-essential visits to our facilities, while continuing to safely meet your needs. Vendors, delivery drivers, maintenance contractors, or other visitors will be asked to complete a personal health assessment before coming onto our facility property. We are asking them to:
- Check for symptoms of COVID-19: fever, cough, shortness of breath, or ANY flu-like symptoms
- Identify if they have had any close personal contact with anyone in the last 14 days who have tested positive for COVID-19
Anyone who answers yes will be asked to not visit our facilities.
Limited exposure at our facilities. While we know many of your personnel have relationships with people at our facilities. However, please ensure your logistics personnel know they should limit time spent outside their trucks while on-site at our facilities.
Consideration of your safety. If you have concerns about your health and safety and its impact on your current needs, please contact us at (712) 322-4038 and we will help you work through it.
