Since 1930, engines and equipment across the Midwest have been running smoother with United Lubricants. Since the Great Depression, the United brand has stood for high quality products at competitive prices and great customer service provided by long-term, caring employees.

United boasts a wide product line, offering everything from engine oil to crop oil, from cutting oil to cattle oil, from hydraulic oil to white oils, from farm tractor hydraulic-transmission fluid to leather – working oils. These products also come in a wide selection of container sizes, from 5-ounce bottles to 330-gallon tote tanks, and many sizes in between. Among the many services provided are expert lubricant engineering, on-site plant lubrication surveys, technical assistance to solve lubrication problems and design of bulk lubricant delivery systems.

But United’s technical expertise and superior services extend further still. Our fully equipped laboratory provides a full range of standard lubricant tests for outstanding quality control. The laboratory also offers a comprehensive used oil analysis service for customers that monitor contaminants and engine wear metals. In addition, longstanding relationships with the country’s top base oil and additive companies augment United’s problem solving capabilities.

United Lubricants are manufactured in Council Bluffs, IA. The facility enjoys excellent geographic location and proximity to rail and interstate highway connections assuring quick responsiveness to customer needs. In addition, our packaging facility contains bulk oil storage exceeding one million gallons to take advantage of volume discounts and changing marketing conditions. A large fleet of trucks and specialized trailers transport bulk and packaged lubricants from warehouses in Council Bluffs, IA, Waterloo, IA, Pipestone, MN and Alpha, IL.

In July of 2006, the United Lubricants brand and manufacturing facility was purchased by GROWMARK, Inc. of Bloomington, Illinois. The tradition of high quality products and services continues with the support of an international cooperative system with over $4 billion in sales volume. GROWMARK is a regional agricultural cooperative serving nearly 250,000 farmers and other customers with agronomic inputs, fuels, lubricants, grain marketing services and more through local member cooperatives, retail and subsidiary locations from Colorado to the U.S. East Coast and Ontario, Canada.
